On-air name: Army Matt

Time Slot: Tuesday 6:00-9:00 A.M.

Date of Birth: 11/02/1979

E-mail: Mattbyalongshot@gmail.com

WBER History: I first started listening to WBER in college around 1997. I was drawn to the variety of the station. I had never heard a station that played music the way I listened to it. That is to say with a good deal of ADD. I was hooked from then on. Years later after a move out of state and then back I became a semi-regular caller to the FMS. Through listening I decided to enter myself in the Be the Next WBER DJ contest. In the 2011 contest I came in 2nd. I was then given a chance to come in about 6 months later and train to be a DJ.

Real World: In the real world I am an Account Executive for Going to the Sun Marketing. Im also a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army. Im a 420C, Bandmaster. Thats right kids, I play music for the Army, thus the moniker given to me by the FMS crew.
