WBER History -I’ve been listening to WBER since middle school in the early 90's. I used to tape songs off of WBER with my little portable boom box. I remember hearing songs from the debut albums of Portishead and Weezer by listening to WBER. If it weren’t for WBER I wouldn’t be as obsessed with music as I am and probably wouldn’t have gone on to play an active role in college radio at WPTS at the University of Pittsburgh.

I finally made it on to the WBER airwaves as a DJ when I won the 2011 “Be the Next BER DJ” competition. I’m the first female to win the competition and truly, I'm still not sure how I won but I feel very lucky to be a part of such an amazing community-supported radio station like WBER. I love being back on the airwaves spinning the best in alternative music and sharing my passion for music with WBER listeners.

Real World - I grew up in Fairport, went to the University of Pittsburgh (Go PITT!), and later The University of Pennsylvania.
