WBER History:
My wife introduced me to WBER on my first visit to Rochester in 1999. I thought wow, what a cool station, we have nothing like this back home! I became a DJ by pestering Joey for most of 2014, until he gave in. It helped that I had 13 years of on again off again radio experience.

Real World:
I've wanted to be a radio DJ since I was a kid, and now I get to play one on WBER! I grew up in New Jersey, outside of NYC, where I still have family and friends. I received my degree in Radio/Television from SUNY New Paltz in 2002, and have been in the media industry ever since. I'm now a dad of young twin boys, who take up much of my time. They are the best!

5 Favorite Alternative Albums/Bands (
in no particular order):
1)Weezer- The Blue Album
2)Arcade Fire-Funeral
3)The Killers-Hot Fuss
4)Modest Mouse-Good News For People Who Love Bad News
5)Radiohead-OK Computer

Best Job:
Usher at a dilapidated movie theater. Picture the movie Empire Records set in a movie theater...

Any regrets:
I was quite a talented piano player in elementary/middle school. I quit because it “wasn't cool.” I wonder if I would have been able to make a career out of it....

Your Passion:
Radio- seriously. Plop me down in any city in the Northeast, and I could tell you what the alternative station is. Probably know the tower location and wattage too. Nerd alert.

Favorite Quote:
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. – Mark Twain
