| WBER History : I can’t
remember life without WBER. It must have been really lame so I probably
repressed it from my memory. Basically, I have been listening as long as I can
remember and during the summer of 2001 I realized that my life would not be
complete until I became a WBER DJ. I went to the studio and applied, but Joey
was nowhere to be found. So I continuously bombarded him with e-mails. He must
have sensed my potential through cyber-space because after almost one year of
begging and pleading, I was hired! June 1, 2002 marks my first shift as an
official WBER DJ!!! Now I can die happy.
Real World : I am a multi-tasker. I graduated from MCC and am attending SUNY Brockport for Broadcast Communications. During the summers I work at Kodak in the Digital Imaging department and do all sorts of computer geeky nerdy stuff. I work at the Henrietta branch of a luxurious corporate Italian restaurant chain. I am also a National Radio Director at Universal Buzz! I would like to have a career in radio, either as a program / music director or on-air personality. I eventually want to work for an indie record label like Vagrant or be a tour manager for a band. And I wouldn't mind if Alternative Press published one of my articles.
